I am a documentary photographer based in London, available for assignments and commissions.
In my personal work I am drawn to stories about people and their topographical and historical connections to places, how a person takes up space, and how environments inform experience. I am interested in expanding the possibilities of how documentary photography may be experienced and sometimes experiment with installation and performance to invite an audience to engage with documentary photography in a new way. I make self-motivated projects as well as commissions and have collaborated with artists, musicians, film makers and other photographers a number of times. I have an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the LCC, University of the Arts London, and a BA (Hons) in European Theatre Arts from Rose Bruford.
I am a member of international photography collective M55Reports.
I am proud to be part of the Women Photograph initiative - a network of independent documentary photographers across the globe.
I run Photo Scratch, a bi-monthly night for documentary photographers to show case work-in-progress projects at Hotel Elephant Gallery in London, SE1. In my free time (eh?) I also free-lance picture edit including for The Sunday Times, Thomson Reuters Wider Image, and with individual photographers.
I completed Emergency First Aid training in January 2016.
